13th May 2008, it was about 7:30 P.M., after the office, I was returning to home, as I reached the Sanjay Circle (Near Chandpole) and just about to went through the Chandpole Gate, I heared a sound of explosion. People were screaming "Bomb Blasts", came running from the point of the blast location. Police people were blocking the way that leading to chandpole and sent people back from the Chandpole Gate. On asking a young guy, I was told that Bomb Blast was happened there. There was environment of Terror and Hustle & Bustle. I went to my home passing through narrow lanes.
As I reached home, switch the TV on and came to know that 9 serial Bomb Blasts took place at different locations in Walled City (The Old and Original Pink City or Old Jaipur is surrounded by Fortified walls of Old time, is known as walled city). All this happened within 30 minutes. I made calls to my father, who was about to come at the same time through the same way, and my brother Manish was at his friend's room that is out side the walled city.
What I saw the pictures and footage of the causality, I stunned. What the hell happened to my City? Pinkcity is a beautiful, calm, peaceful and Joyful city. All of the sudden it became place of massive death and injuries.
30 minutes, 9 blasts, one by one were happened within a limited area, in the range of couple KMs in walled city. Target locations were the densely populated and heavily crowded market areas of Chandpole, Badi Chaupar, Tripolia Bazar, Manak Chowk, Johari Bazar and Sanganeri Gate. It was Tuesday and Hanuman Temples were the most crowded places of this religious city. 5 blast points were just near Hanuman Temples, so the massive casualties happened. It was planned to create communal disharmony and clashes. But everyone should salute the spirit of Jaipurites that, there wasn’t such kind of environment at all. Instead of that all community people were helping each other. It didn’t spoil the environment.
All the Bombs were planted in bags on cycles, and these cycles were parked at the heavily crowded target locations equipped with timer device. Timers were set according to the planned serial blasts. This work was done by some low profile guys; one of them was arrested after couple of hours after blasts. The blast pattern was pointing towards the terrorist organization HUJI (Harquat-Ul-Jehadul Islam). Huji is a Bangladesh based Islamic Terrorist group. It was formerly known as Harqat-Ul-Ansar and then Harqat-Ul-Mujahidin. It is supported and helped by Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, Al-Quaida and other Pak based Islamic terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-E-Taiyyaba, Jaish-E-Mohammad.
Huji has its sleeper cells, more than 50,000, according to the IB report, spread all over the India. Sleeper Cells are that local person, who works for such organizations. These people are not all time active members, but works for a time after a long interval of time. They are used to provide communication, money, resources, shelter and such helps to the active members of organization. Sometime they take active part in terrorist activity, such as they are used to plant bombs also.
In Jaipur serial blasts, such prime suspect is a woman, named Meena Kumari; she planned to plant bombs at various locations. She paid Rs. 1,00,000.00 to the person who planted the bombs. Bombs were planted by the person who doesn’t know about it. This is a typical Huji kind of pattern. As we see backdates the U.P., Malegaon Serial Blast or Mumbai Serial Blast is concern, these were also done by Huji with the help of LeT and SIMI (Student’s Islamic Movement of India). So we cannot deny the possibility of involvement of these two organizations. Recently 32 of SIMI members were arrested in M.P. disclosed that there was planning of such blasts in Jaipur also. So, isn’t it the failure of central or state intelligence agencies.
Another prime suspect is Huji activist, Maulana Mohammad Shameem, resident of U.P. and was living in Jhunjhunu and Sikar from past two years. He went to Huji camps in Bangladesh for terrorist training so many times. Didn’t the state agencies know about that? There are lots and lots of Bangladeshi intruders are illegally living here in Jaipur. They’ve got ration card and voter ID cards of Indian Election Commission also. Most of them are caught involved in criminal activities. Being poor and member of a specific community, they are soft targets of such terrorist organizations. Even the govt. doesn’t have the control over them. Instead of that political parties see the huge vote bank in them; this is the biggest mistake of them. Didn’t any one remember Captain Amit Kalia; of Indian Army caught by Bangladesh army and we got his barbarically damaged dead body back. We sacrifice our great brave soldiers to free the Bangladesh from the claw of Pakistan. Now we are getting such gift from that bug like country.
Our strength of forgiveness and some of our selfishness and negligence is considered as our weakness; which is unfortunately true. That is why such countries that cannot be seen even on the globe map, whose UDP is just negligible, economy is nothing, far behind in technology from us, and such country can think and implement this kind of activity against India.
As all we know 9/11, attack on USA (WTC), how determined govt. it was. Afghanistan is too far from America but it destroys almost all of them took out from their mule holes. The American Govt. almost demolished the whole country whose civilians were responsible for the attack.
We need a federal Intelligence and Anti Terrorist Agencies which should be responsible completely for such terrorist activities happened in the country. This should be under the Military Forces and completely non-influenced of any political We need such determined govt. And if the govt. can’t do that, let it handled by the Armed Forces. Govt. and its agencies know all about the terrorist camps and their activities going at the border area, but we are in the state of helplessness. It’s such a pitiful and shameful situation. This dirty game of vote and politics ruined such a great and beautiful country. Shall we all helplessly keep watching the situation? Can’t we do anything for our country? This is our home, our motherland, and we are not such incapable children so we can’t do anything for our motherland. Let us individually and strongly work against the this kind of terrorist and criminal activities. Not only terrorists but also any kind of crime should not be tolerated at all. Lets pledge.

More than 70 people got killed and more than 300 got injured in these blasts. There was blood spread at streets of Jaipur. Watching TV footages, I was just about to cry. A little girl of about 7-8 yrs, lied, was almost dead, her father was pumping on her chest, she wasn’t responding. She was bleeding through her nose and mouth extensively. That was the most tragic scene. Mothers lost sons, weeping and screaming of those can make any Human cry.
A little girl, Subhana, came with her mother and aunt who were killed in the blast, got injured and state of shock in the hospital. No one is with her. A middle class pandit, living in our locality, a long, fair, healthy and smart man, killed in the blast at Sanganeri Gate Hanuman temple. He had five daughters and a son. He was only earning member in the family. The always smiling face is no more now. What will now happened to his family. Does the compensation provided by the govt. take him back or the happiness of the family? Money can never take place of the man. No one can diminishes the pain of such families, we can just only share that pain and grief. Let all political parties and religious parties, organizations and groups do their work, we individually should help each other, the suffered people.
